Shannon Sullivan grew up in the heart of San Francisco. She studied acting at Emerson College, lived and worked in New York City and London, and now lives in Los Angeles. After studying filmmaking at UCLA and the National Film and Television School in London, she completed her first short film, Eleanor in the Room, which she wrote and directed. She just completed her second short, Admin, which she wrote, directed, and acted in.

In her work, Shannon explores the complexities of women’s relationships, how we find meaning, and the indelible effects of media and culture on our lives.
